1. Who operates Skybrari
Skybrari is an independently operated digital goods store based in the United States. All references in this policy to "Skybrari," "we," "us," or "our" refer to the operator. For privacy questions, contact hello@skybrari.com.
2. What data we collect
Information provided directly
- Account and purchase details: when you create an account or buy a sky collection — name, email, optional Instagram handle, optional photography niche.
- Payment information: processed entirely by Stripe. Skybrari does not store card numbers, bank account details, or CVV codes. Stripe's privacy policy is at stripe.com/privacy.
- Gallery submissions: when you submit a before/after pair to skybrari.com/submit, we collect the two images, the text fields you provide (display name, quote, niche), and your email for correspondence.
- Email content: messages you send to hello@skybrari.com.
Automatic information
- Site analytics: we use a privacy-friendly analytics service to count page visits and measure general site performance. Analytics do not collect personally identifiable information and do not use cross-site tracking cookies.
- Server logs: our hosting provider (Cloudflare) keeps request logs containing IP address, user agent, and timestamp for security and rate-limiting. These are retained for up to 30 days.
3. How we use the data
- Deliver purchased products and send receipts.
- Process refunds and support requests.
- Send transactional emails (welcome, purchase confirmation, photo-review approval, weekly challenge announcements).
- Send marketing emails only when you've explicitly opted in (e.g., when you confirmed subscription via the newsletter form). Every marketing email includes a one-click unsubscribe link.
- Display approved gallery submissions publicly on skybrari.com/gallery with the credits you provide.
- Prevent fraud and abuse.
4. Who we share data with
Skybrari shares data only with service providers who are contractually required to use it solely on our behalf:
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Cloudflare — hosting and DNS.
- Resend — transactional emails (welcome, purchase receipts, delivery) and opt-in marketing emails.
We do not sell personal data, rent contact lists, or share data with advertisers.
5. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights:
- Access: request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction: request correction of inaccurate data.
- Deletion: request deletion of your account and associated personal data.
- Portability: request your data in a machine-readable format.
- Objection: object to certain processing (for example, marketing emails).
- Withdrawal of consent: where processing is based on consent, withdraw it at any time.

California residents (CCPA): you have the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Skybrari does not sell personal information.
EU/UK residents (GDPR): the legal basis for processing is contract performance (for purchases), consent (for marketing emails), and legitimate interest (for security and fraud prevention). You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
6. Data retention
- Account and purchase records: retained as long as the account is active, plus 7 years for tax and legal compliance after account closure.
- Marketing list: until you unsubscribe, at which point your data is removed from the active list within 48 hours.
- Gallery submissions: retained while publicly displayed. Removed within 48 hours of a valid removal request.
- Server logs: 30 days maximum.
7. Cookies
Skybrari uses the minimum cookies necessary to run the site: session cookies for cart state and login, and a preference cookie for cookie-banner dismissal. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. Analytics are cookieless.
8. Children
Skybrari's services are not directed at individuals under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, email hello@skybrari.com and we will remove it.
9. International transfers
Skybrari is based in the United States. If you access the site from outside the US, your data is transferred to and processed in the US. Our service providers may also process data in other regions (Stripe, Cloudflare). We rely on Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable.
10. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated to reflect new features, legal requirements, or service providers. Material changes will be communicated by email to active account holders and posted at skybrari.com/privacy with a revised effective date. Continuing to use the site after the effective date of a change constitutes acceptance.
